Amish Jani Vice President, CoE Corrosion Engineering – Static Equipment Reliability
Amish Jani is Vice President of CoE Corrosion Engineering – Static Equipment Reliability at Reliance Industries Limited. A Metallurgical Engineering graduate from The MS University Baroda, he brings over 29 years of extensive experience in managing static asset integrity in large petrochemical and refinery complexes. He is deeply passionate about material selection, metallurgy, inspection, and corrosion/degradation mechanisms of static equipment in refining and petrochemical operations. Amish spearheads the development of new corrosion management solutions and advanced NDE methods for in-service inspection by collaborating with academia, institutes, and global industry leaders such as Shell, Honeywell/UOP, Fluor, Foster Wheeler, CB&I/McDermott, and BVPI.
He has presented numerous technical papers at national and international conferences covering inspection, reliability, corrosion monitoring, and maintenance strategies.
His vision is to transition from damage resolution to proactive and predictive corrosion risk management by embracing advanced NDE technologies integrated with digital analytics. He aspires to be among the global best-in-class specialists in Materials, Corrosion, and Inspection in the refinery and petrochemical industry.
