Dr. Baloji Naik Ramavath

Dr. R. Baloji Naik is Scientist-E at the Protective Coating Division, Naval Materials Research Laboratory (DRDO), Ministry of Defence, Govt. of India. He holds an M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry from Osmania University and a Ph.D. from Mumbai University. With over 18 years at NMRL, he has developed several organic coatings for the Indian Navy, many of which are in regular use on naval ships. He specializes in paint failure analysis and provides technical support to the Navy and ToT firms.

Dr. Naik has published over 25 research papers in reputed international journals, presented 30+ conference papers, holds seven Indian patents (three granted), and guided multiple Ph.D. and M.Tech/M.Sc. students.
