Microbial Corrosion & Inhibitors
Dr. Jaya Rawat holds a Ph.D. from Z.H. College, AMU Aligarh (1998) on metallic corrosion inhibitors and an Executive MBA from S.P. Jain College, Mumbai (2020). With extensive experience in corrosion research and mitigation, her expertise includes corrosion failure analysis, pipeline internal corrosion, cost-effective inhibitor development, oxygenate fuel corrosion on automotive parts, microbiological corrosion, and fouling in heat exchangers. She has worked on coatings, paints, High TAN crude processing, and innovative techniques for corrosion monitoring in non-aqueous media.
Dr. Rawat has more than 100 publications in national and international journals and book chapters, 15 granted patents, and 5 filed. A member of NACE/AMPP, she is also a reviewer for Elsevier journals, guides Ph.D. and M.Tech students, and regularly delivers talks at major forums. She has received awards for Best Ph.D., Best Paper, Excellence in Corrosion Science, Best Lab (NACE), Petrotech Best Innovator, and Frost & Sullivan awards, and has coordinated research projects with IITs, leading research institutes and PSUs.
